Still trying to come to terms with this. I have worked with Karen for 20 years. When I first joined the company in 2003 I hated it - I didn't enjoy the job and I didn't think I could stick it out for too long. That all changed when Karen became my team leader at some point in 2004. From that point on I looked forward to coming into work. She was so fun to work with, she made me laugh every day and she was so good at her job. She was smart and she interacted so well with her colleagues and the brokers we dealt with. Everyone loved her including me. I remember when she told me she was pregnant with Ollie - I was so happy for her but gutted because I knew she'd be out the office for several months and the office was a much better place to be when she was in it. At least then I knew she'd be returning and that I'd see her again. Knowing that I wont be able to see her again breaks my heart but I am so glad I got to meet her and spend so much time with her. She was just the most wonderful person - beautiful, smart, funny, brave. One in a million and I will never forget her. Dave.
